Madeleine’s illustration features a Mexican Milagro as the centrepiece.In Spanish, the word milagro means miracle or surprise. Milagros are small religious folk charms found throughout Mexico and Peru. The Heart Milagro (also known as the Sacred Heart) represents love, healing and gratitude.

It represents the core message of the artwork - the importance of being true to who you are. Express yourself through the opinions you have, wear the clothes you want to wear and do whatever makes you feel true to yourself. These are all simple, but essential ways of practising self-care.
