Madeleine's creative journey unfolds from her childhood in Hastings to her learning years in London, and she now lives in stunning North Wales with her young family - while working with clients globally. The natural world is a constant source of inspiration for her, and a reminder of what keeps her grounded as an artist. Wellbeing is an important part of Madeleine’s daily routine to keep her focused and inspired - with quiet morning yoga sessions and unwinds taking mountain hikes in the wild with her husband & two boys. Even the occasional cold water plunge!

Madeleine’s speciality is bringing imagery, design and illustration to life in ways you probably didn’t realise were possible. 

Her distinctive mixed-media style grew from her love of second-hand shops. During her art student days, Madeleine immersed herself in the antique shops of Hastings Old Town, exploring dusty record sleeves and the vibrant technicolor of vintage photographic books. She began experimenting with texture and photo combinations, and discovered her love for collage. Her cherished (ever-growing!) collection of vintage ephemera remains a perpetual source of inspiration. 

Madeleine has had the opportunity to partner with renowned brands such as Howies, EE, Harper Collins, and Zipworld. Her achievements include a prestigious D&AD Award, recognising her exceptional work in interactive design.

In addition to her independent illustration ventures, Madeleine co-founded Yoke, an innovative agency that seamlessly blends creativity, strategy, and storytelling magic for agencies and brands alike.
