Commissioned by charity CW+ as part of their Arts in health programme. Madeleine created a series of intriguing artworks to illustrate the walls, windows and lightboxes of the paediatric A&E department. Using the local area as inspiration, Madeleine gathered research from patients to discover what resonated most with them. These results informed her designs, creating detailed illustrations to distract and engage children as they wait and receive treatment. The final illustrations were printed onto vinyl that was applied to the walls, windows and lightboxes.
